Complaints process
If you believe that I've treated you unethically, you have the right to make a complaint. As a registered psychotherapist with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), my conduct is governed by the PACFA Code of Ethics.

​In order to lodge a complaint with my advisory body, please send an email to ethics@pacfa.org.au with:

your name and contact details;
-
my name (Sam Baran);
-
a description of your complaint; and
-
the date on which the specific incident occurred (if it was a specific incident).

PACFA's complaints handling process specifies that your complaint should be acknowledged within 48 business hours, and a PACFA staff member should contact you about your grievance or complaint within 2 weeks. Any concerns about this process should be taken up with PACFA directly–I do not oversee any part of the complaints submission process.
